The Trip to Greenville NC
First and foremost let tell you that I am down to about 2 and a half miligrams of prednesone so in another week or so I hope to be off of it. It causes large blood bruises on the back of my hands and often I get tired and sleepy. Speaking of tired. I am noticing that I am not as winded as I used to be and that is a good sign that my lungs are healing. Hopefully I will regain 80 or 90 percent of my lung capacity!
Last weekend Kaye and I traveled to Greenville to see NC State play ECU. We had some special tee shirt made by our next door neighbor that said on my shirt "ECU DAD" and underneath it NC STATE DAD. Kaye's shirt said ECU Pirates and underneath NC STATE MOM. Everyone who saw us loved them. We explained we had two sons and one attended ECU and one attended STATE. Who won? Well NC State managed to finally win a game unfortunately at ECU's expense. We stayed over night and visited Matt in his apartment the next day.
