Its about time I updated you!

I am so sorry, April 15 is a long time ago in my world. Now here we are at May 16 and I guess you think I blew off the face of the map. Our lives have picked up a lot of pace as we race to get Ryan graduated June 1. There are graduation invitations to send out, graduation party invitations to send out, graduation pictures to order, and then oh yea lets throw in getting Ryan acclimated toward college so he can start getting ready for orientation and the such. The decision is in and he is going to East Carolina University for a semester and then he hopes to transfer to State so we will see how that goes. I told Kaye that all the pressure is released June 3 when all the graduation stuff is over.

What have I been doing? Just taking 24 treatements of radiation to treat the spot in my chest. I have finished those (last Tuesday) and I have a PET Scan on June 15. I might as well lay it out for you just like the doctor did for me this last Monday. I said Jeff, I have quit asking your thoughts and or what you think might be the result of this latest treatment because I don't want to pin any hopes or notions on what you have to say so I just sit and listen to you. He said well Tim, I have never had a Hodgkins Patient go so far into treatments like you. You are my first patient who has gone 6 months of ABVD, 3 months of ICE, then a trial chemotherapy, Then we dropped the Atom bomb on you with a stem cell transplant and now radiation. He said we see only 1 or 2 Hodgkins patients a year maybe. Boy ain't I special. I said so on the 15th you will call me with the results and he said yes and I said if they are not good then what. He said there is no then what. But you know there is a then what and it is GOD. GOD is the great then what do we do. GOD is the finisher of our race and steward of our soul. Please join me in ringing the prayer bells of Heaven for a positive report on June 15. As I told people last week, God has blessed me so much in my 25 years of marrage, my two Sons, my angel wife Kaye and all the friends a fella could ask for. GOD is GOOD
