Another quick update for you
I had my last chemotherapy for this prescribed dosage on Thursday and so far so good with the fatigue. It may take a few days to hit and then again it may not hit me at all so here we go!
Kaye and I met with my Oncologist today and we discussed the course of action for the next few weeks. A couple of things he said were just as Kaye and I thought. One thing he said was we wait. Kaye and I have been there done that this past year. Officially, we have a PET Scan to be scheduled for the week of September 11 and a visit with the doctor on the 15th to review the results. We are expecting to see the mass has shrunk and its on to stem cell transplant. I ask that you join me in prayer and believing that this indeed will be the results.
We believe in God and his perfect will. We are a blessed family with wonderful children and wonderful friends who pray and seek God and call our names daily with great intensity and that has been a wonderful blessing for us. I see the three weeks as a great time for me in a couple of ways.
1. I get to rest and recover from all of the chemotherapy
2. I get some of my hair back (been missing it a lot lately)
3. I get to avoid that drive over to Rex to have blood work done twice a week
4. I get to focus on my body and making it more healthy and more spiritual
5. I get to be with Kaye
6. NC State Football Games!
7. Even some ECU Football maybe

P.S.
Hair is HIGHLY overrated. Cousin Anne says "Bald is Beautiful" =-)
