The news changes often
The follow up to the testing in Chapel Hill is as follows;
The three rounds of ICE did produce some reduction in the tumor in my left chest. (3.9 cms) but that was not enough to convince the doctors to begin the stem cell transplant procedure. On Thursday of last week I received word that the consensus among the doctors at Chapel Hill was to do 2 rounds of another Chemotherapy, review the results then go straight to Stem cell or do another round depending on the results. I will begin those treatments this Friday.
As far as how I feel. I feel great! I am having some really good days (post ICE). That regime was pretty rough on me but I am told this new one is very easy to manage. (none of them are easy but here goes!)
Everyone has been great to keep me in their prayers and that I am convinced is what has sustained me thoroughout this process. Keep Praying!
